Commitment 01: FOOD SECURITY


​More than 25 000 persons 

More than 25 000 persons have benefited from our social initiatives to distribute warm meals to vulnerable neighbourhoods and orphanages in Antananarivo from 2021 to 2023.

Fighting malnutrition :

As a citizen company, our commitment to the community is at the heart of our DNA. We fight malnutrition by distributing meals to those are most in need, particularly children and homeless people.

Actions towards our customers :

  • HACCP production processes: Guaranteeing product quality and safety following HACCP methods.
  • Internal and External Audits: Continuous assessment of our practices through internal and external audits to ensure rigorous compliance.
  • Periodic updating of our menus : Diversity, balance and optimum nutrition, to guarantee healthy meals for our guests.
  • Satisfaction surveys : Regular evaluations, 2 surveys per site at least per year, including food hygiene, to guarantee our services quality.

Actions towards Community :

  • Daily meal distribution to the most vulnerable et Toamasina retirement home :  11 to 18 persons per day, 7/7day.

Eliminating food waste is one of our mission. As an environmental challenge, it's also an ethical and economic responsibilities. We are determined to create a positive impact by avoiding unnecessary waste.

Advanced practices are in place to ensure our purchasing efficiency and optimal stocks management.

Our production teams are trained to maximise the use of ingredients and minimise waste.

We strictly applied standards to food packaging and preservation, guaranteeing its integrity and quality.

 IMPLEMENTING MEASUREMENT TOOLS

We have developed precise measurement tools to quantify and to analyse our organic waste, including meal scraps, peelings and similar waste.

  INTERNAL AWARENESS

We are setting up awareness-raising programs with our teams and customers, aimed at encouraging responsible behaviour regarding food consumption.

Our growth goes hand in hand with our contribution to local development. With 100% of our supplies sourced locally, we are promoting a socially responsible economy. Our Responsible Purchasing Charter guides our relations with 193 suppliers, including 6 new partners from 2022 to 2023. We also support 175 local suppliers in their formalisation to help their growth.

Reducing Gas Emissions from Mobility :

Our commitment to the environment is reflected in concrete actions. Optimising our transport plans, renewing our fleet and raising awareness of eco-driving are all initiatives designed to minimise our impact on gas emissions.

Gas tank installation (Partnership with VITOGAZ):

We replaced our gas cylinders with an 2,300 L tank, reducing our gas consumption by 40%, bringing our practices into line with our commitment to energy efficiency.

Notre engagement envers l'environnement se traduit par des actions concrètes. L'optimisation des schémas de transport, le renouvellement de notre flotte, et la sensibilisation à l'écoconduite sont autant d'initiatives pour minimiser notre impact sur les émissions de gaz à effet de serre.

1.   Partnership with CCF-harmony

Toys, gifts, Christmas tree decorations distribution in Ampefy to round off our two days of team bulding.​


2 - Reforestation campaign in Ilaka Est

Meals for 250 participants (January 2023)


3 - Food support for the Toamasina retirement home

We provide between 11 and 18 free meals a day to the Maison de Retraite de Toamasina, an association dedicated to vulnerable Franco-Malagasy people.

4 - Annual Dam Evacuation Project with Ambatovy

Since March 2021, we've been providing 250 meals a day for the Ambatovy dam evacuation exercise, supporting the Ambatovy village community with balanced meals including rice, a dish, a piece of fruit and a 1.5-liter bottle of water.
